Software Services
Modern manufacturing is all about the software. We are industry experts on Computer Aided Manufacturing.
Solidworks 2024
We have maintained two licenses for the Solidwarks product since 2012. This allows us to open your 3D files in the same software you designed in. We can also import virtually any CAD format, including older files. Coming soon, professional modeling and drawing services!
Mastercam 2024 Multiaxis
We are always on the latest version of Mastercam. RTI maintain 2 seats of Mastercam Multiaxis and regularly send our staff for training. We edit our own post processors, but we are backed by support from the OEM reseller. Now offering programming services to other manufacturers as well!
BobCAD/CAM V31
RTI has used BobCAD since V21. While not on the latest version, our V31 is very capable of generating quality toolpaths for 2-5 axis machines. We offer post processor development and enhancements for other BobCAD users, reach out for help or a fully supported custom post processor for your machines.
Milling Services
Available in machines from 3-5 axis and a maximum work envelope of 48" x 20" x 20".
3-Axis Milling
We would put our parts next to the best in the industry. As a supplier for several food equipment customers, we observe best practices for superior surface finishes. Our products are literally clean enough to eat off of.
We have six VMCs dedicated to our 3-axis work. All four of our Fadal machines are plastics only while our Haas VF3 is a "clean" machine dedicated to stainless steel production. We have an additional all around VF3 for aluminum and other non-stainless products.
4-Axis Milling
Small parts with high quantities can be batched on our 4-axis mills using our in-house designed and built fixtures. We do our best to keep our spindles running with as little downtime as possible.
We have three Haas VF2s dedicated solely for clean machining of stainless steel products. In the plastics department we have a VF2 and a VF3 with 15,000 RPM spindles.
5-Axis Milling
Our pride and joy is our Haas UMC750 Super Speed 5-axis machine. With a generous work envelope and a 15,000 RPM spindle it is by far the most versatile machine in our shop.
It is so productive we have a hard time keeping it busy. We have been converting some of our 3 axis work to "one-and-done" and the savings are adding up. Let us do this for your production parts!
Turning Services
Available for rounds from 1/8" to 10" and a maximum length of 36".
2-Axis Turning
Tight tolerances, superb finishes. Our brand-new Haas ST-20 is a workhorse. We produce parts in the dozens or the thousands. Consistent quality from the first part to the last. For plastics and non-ferrous metals we have our Haas SL-20 that still produces superb finishes and close tolerances.
